Ghost

oh! do  you know, that ghosts are present during daylight??? I used to be very afraid of sleeping in a dark room at night. Would ALWAYS check my wardrobe and underneath the bed before i sleep. Just in case got ghost there….. (but then again ar… woudn’t it be better to NOT check? if really got then…. kantoi… :S).

once my eye’s closed, wouldnt dare open, in case open then see ghost or see this crazy mad clown (seriously scared of clowns….). would hide underneath my blankets, then….a friend told me about this scary show where the girl hid underneath her blankets but the ghost was inside… (0.0) 

but then eversince my dees told me two things…. i’ve been….. rather okay with dark rooms.

 

what is it?

1. Ghost doesn’t appear only during the night or in dark places….. If there’s a ghost, it’ll appear during the day too. Just whether it wants to show itself or not…. so why be afraid of the dark? if you’re afraid of the dark, then during the day also you should be afraid…. why live your life in fear everyday?

2. The verse he told me which i’ve been telling to myself whenever i’m in a dark place:

‘Greater is He who is in you, then he who is in the world’

meaning, greater than God who’s inside of me then the threats of the world.

like a testimony Pastor Margaret once told during service:

she was alone in the apartment one night. she went to the kitchen to get something. when she turned the kitchen light on, she saw this white figure. She felt really heavy inside and really scared cos this figure was just staring at her in a scary way. she was so scared, all she could think to say was ‘Jesus!’ as soon as she said that, the figure just disappeared and she felt PEACE inside of her. like feel so secure.  after hearing that, i was like…. o.o 

but then one thing bad bout this testimony is that, now everytime i go out to the hall at night, when its quite dark, i start feeling scared. like scared, what if i see it too T.T  before that, i was okay walking out when its semi-dark but after hearing that story, i was like……… 0.0   T.T 

God loves you

Bible says,

Romans 3:23

23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

 

be it lying (even out of good intentions) or killing. its still a sin. And any small or big sin….. HELL is the final destination for you….because

Romans 5:17

17For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, …….

So HOW???????????????????????????

Read the second part Romans 5:17:

how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.

In other words, its says that sin came into the world because the first man sinned. With sin, death and evil entered the world.

BUT

With the death of an innocent man. One who NEVER sinned before in his life. Not even a small little white lie (No, you dont look fat in that clothes). With the death of that innocent man…. life everlasting followed. Those who accept him will enjoy eternity with him. All your past, present and FUTURE sins have been forgiven if you have HIM in your life. Jesus. With his death, no matter what sin you’ve done, is doing or going to do (even murder), its all FORGIVEN. Your sins died with His death.

Read Romans 3:23 and Romans 3:24 TOGETHER

23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

That means as long as we accept Him, redemption and forgiveness is ours.

Why is Jesus so willing to die for us?

Even my parents wont die for me.

I would certainly not be willing to endure torture to save my kids.

I would certainly not be willing to let people crack open my skin with whips lined with glasses and thornes and coated with vinegar and salt

No. I wouldnt. No matter how much I love them

So why was Jesus so willing to do it for us?

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have EVERLASTING life 

 

Just because He LOVE us???????????

Yeah, it may be hard to understand it.

In this world, its if you love me first, then I’ll love you back.

You hurt me, I’ll hurt you back

but with God….

Its…

I’ll love you first.

Doesnt matter if others dont.

I. Love.You.

my pastor’s taught us to say

I love you. If you dont love me. Thats your problem.

Cos God loves me.

SO……….

the Red Sea

A small boy was running around, loudly praising the Lord.

 ’Amen, Amen! Hallelujah! My God is so migghhhtttyyY!!!!’.

A man walked by, and heard him

‘Little boy, why are you shouting so?’

‘Because I love my God. He’s so big and mighty!’

‘What did He do?’

‘Don’t you know, He opened the Red Sea so that His people (the Israelites) could cross through and save themselves from the Egyptions!’

‘Oh, little boy. What little things you know about Your God. Did you know that in those days, the Red Sea was only a FEW INCHES DEEP??? Your God didn’t do anything. Even YOU can cross the Red Sea’

The small little boy looked at the man, his eyes opened wide.

‘But, But…..’ and he quickly looked down at the bible on his lap.

Smug, the man turned to walk away.

Suddenly, the small little boy started shouting even louder

‘Praise the Lord. He truly is the God Almighty’

Surprised, the man walked back to him.

‘Little boy, why are you praising Him now?’

My God is even greater that I thought!!! The Red Sea was only a few inches deep and yet, God managed to drown the WHOLE EGYPTION ARMY in it!!! Praise the Lord! My God is GREAT!!!!

but the part that keeps getting stuck and keeps repeating in my head is

the I see grace part keeps repeating and repeating in my head

i think its really important to know that we really really DO have the grace of God in our lives

I’ve done some pretty bad stuff in the past, and always, I’ve repented and yeah, i know i was forgiven 2000 years ago for my past, present and future sins. but somehow…….. its hard for me to really GET it that God really really FORGAVE me out of GRACE

Grace from God was given to us through the Jesus’ sacrifice.

Yes, Lord. your Grace. I think today, I really really get it that I’m FORGIVEN

ahhh… giddy-ness

I see love reaching for me

I can literally feel something engulfing me. hmmm.. but actually, i really do wonder if i really did felt God’s hand around me, because normally, when you hear people said that they can really really feel as arms are enclosed around them, the love the felt made them BREAK INTO TEARS and they’d CRY to the max. me? I didnt really breakdown. just teared. A BIT! not alot. so is it really LOVE i felt surrounding me or emotional response to the lyrics? hmmm….

BUT STILL, hmm…. i really did feel love coming towards me. (how do you feel love? hehe…. dunno…. >< but…. aiyo…. dunno le. its like…… suddenly, you start smiling for no reason, and i felt something. dont think i felt it in my heart, but i DID feel it somewhere inside of me. dunno how to say… GO ASK A PASTOR!!!! i’m probably the worst person to tell you bout it ><  )

after hearing this song, really. you feel as if no matter what you’ve done, God’s grace will just flow to you and the LOVE!!! oh fruity-cakey. the LOVE *sigh* dunno how to say….

i think the whole chorus part explained the whole ‘In Christ, I’m forgiven’ thing

Only thru accepting the sacrifice Jesus made for us, can we really understand grace

God’s love is ever reaching out to me. yup. all I had to do was receive it. Hard for me to understand that sometimes. when i think the only love i have is from my parents, or when i feel i dont deserve any feeling of likeness or affection from anyone,  His LOVE is ever there for me.

Precious blood, washes and sanctifies.

The precious blood that Jesus shed for us 2000 years ago when He was crucified for us, NOT for HIS own benefit, but for us. He gave HIS life for us so that we may have a LIFE with God. because, all men are sinners and only pure people can go to heaven and be with God. but the blood of Christ washes us and all our sins, no matter how terrible it is has been forgiven. Its like, there’s a book, with all your sins recorded in it, to be presented to God during Judgement Day. but EVERY page with your SINS written on it has been TORN out and thrown away FOREVER. like shredded to nanopieces. God will NEVER remind you of your sins. so why are you trying to remind yourself of your past sins? Yes Lord. no more reminding myself. OK! I’m forgiven, so all of it is behind me. no more reminder.

oh, one thing i MUST keep reminding myself. Jesus WILLLINGLY died for me. no one forced him to.

He died for YOU too

dont you feel so touched He did it JUST FOR US????

just RECEIVE His LOVE

Healing flows, setting me free

my heart is healed. and God’s grace sets me free from the bondages and the memories of it. I”M SET FREE!!! XD

 

only through the understanding that You’re Loved by Him can you be throughly healed

Yes Lord, now i can truly see your grace

 

btw, GRACE means receiving something that you did NOTHING to deserve it, and in the first place, you dont even DESERVE to get it, but still, it was GIVEN to you. without you having to put any effort in getting it. understand now?
