lol. no, that’s not what I cooked.
Thats what my friends cooked.
i’ve been going over to their houses to eat…. nearly everyday.
and gosh!
so yummy!!!
like, the first time i went,
we had like a pot of pork ribs in soup with peanuts. the BEST!
and other stuff I can’t remember at the moment….
The pic above are baked teriyaki chicken and mushrooms, and vegies, and… erm.. forgot…. >< it was a number of days ago….
which gave me the inspiration to finally……
COOK!!!
ANYWAYS….
Honey and Soy Mushrooms
(mushroom cooking method 1)
(loved the ones my friends made, I tried to make one of my own.
)

slice onions and chop garlic.
do it CAREFULLY
don’t try to slam it if you’re a first timer.
garlic flies….

add a lil bit of oil and add in mushrooms.
wash mushrooms first.
this is the worst method of cooking mushrooms (for me)
later posts will do other methods.
when you think its halfcooked, add in garlic and onion.

chop spam and add.

add in kikkoman honey and soy marinade
(ok ok. i cheated. i use ready made marinade. but you can make it on your own. just add honey and dark soy and bit of light soy if you want…)
sauce can be substituted for teriyaki or other sauces

fry fry

serve
it’s yummy!!!!!
its suitable as a late night snack. i don’t think it’ll cost you much calories kua….
how fattening can a mushroom be?
alternative method:
a few friends came over after the fringe parade, and i made this for them….
they LOVED it!!!
but a yummier way of making it is
to first boil water in kettle,
soak mushrooms in boiled water (from above) in a boiling pan. on stove. boil few minutes.
this makes the mushroom cooking time MUCH shorter. the method above gave me…. uncooked mushrooms… ><
but it was YUMMY!
anyways,
fry onion and garlic until brown brown (in method above, i just waited few secs before adding other things. but its more fragrant and yummier this way. friends taught one.
)
while waiting, remove mushrooms and marinade with sauce. leave few minutes.
add to pan
fry fry a while
serve.
YUMMYNESS!!!!!

i love this picture! cos it looks like a duck with goggles.
