Glasses

I LOVE glasses.

I think guys who wear glasses are HOT and that’s one of things I would be attracted to in a guy :p

When I was a kid, I really really REALLY wanted to wear glasses. So I would always, um…. ‘trick’ my parents and tell them I had problems seeing things and needed glasses. When the optometrist did the eye examination, I woul always pretend I couldn’t read the words.

But… apparently, I couldn’t pretend that well because the results were always…..

’she has 20/20 vision. she doesn’t need glasses’

=.=

 

Finally, my parents bought me frameless lenseless glasses and I would wear it like, EVERYWHERE!

Imagine walking around wearing glasses where you can poke holes through it….

I remember wearing it to school, and the first time my friend saw me wearing it, she poked her finger through the hole and guess where that finger hit =.=

hehe. okla. I’m sure most of you know, but for those who don’t….

Its this korean variety show and the funniest segment is the dangyunhaji segment. its like… 0.0! The funniest! and the way they make fun of each other…

Thomas Kinkaide- THe Painter of Light

I absolutely love LOVE Thomas Kinkaide.

His paintings always have this quaint country cottage feeling.

And it gives you like, a sense of calm and makes  you just want to lie down and keep staring at his paintings.

My love affair with Thomas Kinkaide started few years ago when dad’s friend introduced us to his gallery. Migosh! The way they put up his paintings, and in those special lightings….When I’m older and start earning big bucks, I’d love to install special lightings near the entrance of my house. Imagine walking through my doors and 0.0!!! wow! You feel so at home immediately. :p But I want a Thomas Kinkaide original. :p Cos most of the paintings you find are made by his proteges.

I’m not an artsy fartsy type of person. I’ve never liked nor noticed arts. I’m more of the erm…. plain walls kind of person. But something about his paintings….

He’s a christian artist you know.

But….. You can’t like, just because he’s a christian, you start buying lots of his paintings or put him on a pedestal. You wanna buy hs paintings just because he’s a christian? This is not band of brothers, ok… =.=

 Just because one is a christian, it doesn’t mean he’s good nor pure. (keke. Through Christ, though, he can. ) But what I’m really trying to say is that when you look at his paintings, try to look deep into what his paintings are trying to convey. tch. I’m  bad at these stuff =.=

I absolutely love LOVE his musical boxes. He’s the one who got me into musical boxes in the first place.

But they’re normally available overseas.T.T (Ohmigosh! You should see the musical box specialty SHOPS they have in us!!! I wish I can buy the whole shop! But they’re pretty $$$, but… SO innovative. LIke not the normal open box ones. )

I tried getting a musical box from the shop once, but their stock comes in like, once a year and sells out really fast T.T Its also about 150$ more expensive too =.=

After seeing mei e’s jigsaw puzzle, i’m like….love love :p

But i dont think i’d have the patience to put together 1000 jigsaw puzzle pieces =.=

On a side note, did you know you can actually make tvs!!! Like flat screen plasma tvs!!!

Its superly easy peasy!!!

And its much MUCH cheaper than buying one.

like a huge wide one can costs about 3000usd, but if you make one, it just costs 1500usd. which okay, is ALOT with the way usd$$$ keeps going up these days =.=  but its the BIG WIDE SCREEN type. not the laptop sized ones.

Where can you go to learn this FREE class on making it? (well, you just have to pay for the materials… )

in KOREA!!!!

hehehe. so you might as well just buy one… =.=

 

Saw it on tv the other day, in korea, you get to go to these free classes where they teach you how to massage, get a cert on beauty treatments, hairstyling!!! (materials provided for FREE) and…. they actually PAY you to attend these classes. cool hor?

THen there’s the free classes on tv making (but you need pay for materials).

And free classes on how to decorate your houses with a lil bit of wood panelling. Most housewifes go for this classes sinces its like 70% cheaper than paying someone else to do it for you. So rambo, hor the housewives. When I get married, I’m gonna go for this and the tv making classes too. save my husband some money.

and… i can sell you the tvs i make too!
